Life aboard the Oklahoma became routine after the Great War ended.

The Oklahoma was reassigned to the Atlantic Fleet along with the other oil burners.

The coal burners were assigned to the Pacific Fleet.

Trips were made through the Panama Canal, to Guantanamo, Cuba and to Vera Cruz, Mexico. Trouble was brewing with Mexico, but when the US Navy appeared off the coast at Vera Cruz the trouble stopped.
