Memorial Day 2002
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
On Monday May the 27th, four USS Oklahoma survivors participated in a ceremony
outside the Oklahoma Historical Society building.

The ceremony included the presentation of a plaque
and other artifacts from the USS Oklahoma,
The Oklahoma was torpedoed Dec,7 1941 during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.
The ceremony also included the annual reading of the names of the state's 11,029 war dead.
